The Magneto Design Lab Mini-’58 is a beautiful-sounding and versatile humbucker with a classic but often overlooked design. Starting with the Epiphone Sheraton in ’58 and John Lee Hooker, to the Les Paul Deluxe in ’69 and Pete Townsend, mini humbucker pickups have a long lineage as a beloved pickup. The Mini-’58 is inspired by and stays true to that vintage design, but with a few tweaks to give it a bit more personality. The Mini-'58 also available in a Mini-3+3 version, a recreation of the pickup available in the famous Silvertone 1446L. But that’s just the beginning. The Mini-’58 is at home in a Gibson-style guitar, Strat-style HSS with one of our Strat single coils, or in the neck position of your Tele with one of our Tele single coils. And for mounting, we offer Firebird & Epiphone-Style Trim Rings or Les Paul Deluxe Mounting Rings. From Country to Blues, Pop to Classic, and Alt Rock, the Mini-’58 is the forgotten pickup that can do it all.
